My husband would DIE for one of these!!! He whittles wood in his spare time.... his most famous peices (to me) are a small sail-boat with a brass sail... and the last thing he did was my name.

Well, its definitely not like a big standard engraver, but it does work... however, it helps if you have a stencil ... and it is especially good for practicing steadiness. My son & I have engraved a few things... one being a Zippo lighter which he "grafitti'd" with his name a peace sign other insignias... and it looks really cool!

What items will it engrave on? I hope sterling silver. I have a friend who makes sterling silver jewelry and I would like to have her sign mine with it.
