This is a brand new set of stainless silverware! We already have a set that we use daily, so this has sat in the closet for years :-) It's time to give it to someone who needs it!
Set includes:
12 salad forks
12 place forks
12 place knives
12 place spoons
12 teaspoons
PLUS
serving fork
sugar spoon
butter knife
2 serving spoons
wood caddy
This thing is heavy! So shipping will be flat rate $10 (will probably cost more, but I'll cover the rest)
The box is a little bit beat up, but everything inside is brand new and unused.
This would be the perfect set to bring out for the Holidays!
I don't know what other details to list for this type of thing, so if you have questions, feel free to ask below :-)
Enjoy!

How will you do free shipping as an option?

How about this.. if the winner is OK with NOT receiving the box and NOT receiving the wooden tray inside.. I'll unpack this and put everything in a flat rate USPS box and ship it for FREE. If you DO want the original packaging and/or the wooden tray, you still pay $10 since it won't fit in a flat-rate anymore. Hope that helps!

Oh my goodness, this does HELP. Thank you so much for your time and consideration....

cool! in that case if you win (or anyone else who doesn't want the box and tray.. I'll just unpack it, leave the plastic on as much as possible and ship in a flat-rate. Thanks and good luck :)

THe wooden tray is what? a cutting board or to hold the silverware?

It holds the silverware in compartments... looks like you could put it inside a drawer and it will hold everything neatly. Its made of wood, so its a bit heavy and big :-)

i have one of those wooden trays. There are just like those plastic ones that hold spoons, knives, and forks in sections. But made out of a hard wood I think it looks prettier then those ugly white plastic ones.

This is a VERY nice auction, I'd say retail value at least $50 and well worth the shipping. Good luck!

This would be a GREAT gift for a wedding or someone who is just setting up house. MUCH better than a box of flatware from a thrift shop! LOL ...

What is the name of the pattern?

It says "Madrid" on the sticker.. not sure if that's the name of the pattern. Hope that helps a little bit :-)

Sorry have one other question, is it 18/0 or 18/10?

aunteah

Never mind last question, just saw on corner of box it's 18/0. Not as durable as 18/10 but still good quality.

Thanks for checking it out! Sorry the picture was a little blurry :-)

So is this set pretty heavy duty or does it bend pretty easy.
Dec 9th, 2010 at 8:27:05 AM CST by
Stacikelly

Stacikelly I looked online at the difference in 18/0 and other 18 gauge stainless and this is the lowest grade but still durable. Info I found says it does tend to bend and turn colors quicker than 18/10 or 18/8, but again still fairly durable.
