CHINESE HOUSES
Collinsia heterophylla

This California native is rare but easy to grow and quite showy. In spring and early summer it produces a great profusion of white and violet bicolor snapdragon-like blooms. Outstanding at the front of borders, scattered under deciduous trees, or as a ground cover for bulbs. Grows 1-2 feet tall. Sow where it is to grow in fall or spring.

Are these annual or perennials? Also, are they invasive? They are very pretty. I will be watching.

These are annuals, but you can gather the seeds in the fall and save them for the following year and start many more. I do not know if it is invasive. Sorry.
