My son collects these. He has all my dads metals including his two purple hearts. Now they don't give two of anything. If you win two purple hearts now they just give you a ribbon purple heart representative and add another piece to it.

i have been try to get my dad old nave medales. i don't j=know how to go about it to get tehm. he ws in the navy in ww2.very nice pin

To get the medals a servicemember earned, call your U.S. Congressman and tell the receptionist what you want to do. You would need his military records available to tell her his years of service, branch(es), identifying number (SSN or service number), among other information.
