The listing, Vintage Wood SEWING BOX with Drawers Pins Buttons Needles has ended.

This vintage sewing box stands about 10" high, 3" across and is 3 1/4" deep.
I don't know what kind of wood it is.
Has a hole for hanging
Has 4 drawers--one of the drawers needs to be re-glued in the back--the drawer operates just fine as it is, tho.

Has a "made in Japan" sticker on the bottom

I think this is an old spice cabinet. I got one very similar that was home made. I keep buttons in it.

@therealpeggysue it is indeed a sewing notions cabinet. They also made a matching one for spices, and it has spice names on it instead of needles..etc. I have the 6 drawer sewing cabinet and am in search of the matching spice cabinet, so if anyone should see one please contact me.

I have 84 auctions going on at the moment and I have lots of packages to mail out of my auctions that have already ended. Mailing packages after an auction is my first priority--I like to mail quickly. I am also in the middle of taking lots of pictures for the next batch. Plus, I have a large ebay store to take care of. I always answer if someone has a question, tho. I don't answer every comment--you are right. lulu
