My 4 year old daughter loves this book about a boy who has a tough time getting ready on time in the morning, just like her! With only 4-5 words/page, she can proudly read it by herself. It has a great message, too, that an awful day can turn around and be great.
The text is followed by a series of activity pages, such as finding rhyming words, that Genevieve also thoroughly enjoys doing with me.
I have two other fine books in the "My First Hello Reader" series, "My Messy Room" and "No Way!". In fact, I'm so pleased with them all that I'm buying any other ones in the series that I can locate. They're the best books I've found for helping Genny learn to read.
