The listing, HP mini 110 notebook has ended.

Very well taken care of, used hp mini 110 1212NR notebook computer. Running Windows 8.
Battery in good shape and still holds a charge. Comes with original paperwork, box, battery, power cord and of course the notebook.
Has built in webcam and microphone.
Original specifications show 1 GB RAM but I have upgraded this one to 2 GB RAM.

THIS may be a dumb question but what is the difference in a laptop and a note book my grand daughter is starting college and i want to get her something she can use but i don't know what the difference in the two are unless it is just the size for carring can you help explain as i do not know thank you

A netbook is smaller than a laptop, doesn't have a cd/dvd. The screen is 10.1" where a laptop screen is larger, etc... Nit a stupid question, thanks for asking.

You are correct about Ubuntu, Linux I am learning to use it and I love how my laptop runs. I will soon run just the Ubuntu as I soon will wipe the Microsoft from my laptop.

Yeah, it is a great, stable operating system. I would only be using it, except there is some software I have to use that requires windows, so I just dual-boot, and that way when windows messes up I can boot into ubuntu and fix windows.
