I am so glad you asked me!!! I thought this was only a tote bag as that's all I've used it as. But after you asked I researched & found Yes this can be worn as a crossbody as we'll coach says "Double Chain Silver Strap with 9.5" drop (can be converted to single long strap with approx. 18" drop)"

After viewing the pics (part of the description) I don't think we're looking at a crossbody. Why, just look at the strap, it doesn't go anywhere. It is permanent. It is a beautiful bag, and the chain strap is gorgeous! Makes me want it even more! This is a true bag, not a crossbody. Love it!
