The spirit of '76 bicentennial gold coin made into a necklace
beautiful golden medal/coin made into a necklace with braided golden chain like casing to hold the medal intact with the loop hole at top for a chain. has 4 golden clips to hold the medal in place. very professionally done. really a nice piece. i have had it many many years and it has never changed color or anything. got it in a storage sale i purchased way back when
do not see any markings on this to say what material it is so have no idea.
i am going to guess it was the original coin then dipped in gold color. whatever it is the picture does not give it justice. it is a beautiful shiny gold-bright and real looking. is there such a thing as dipping in real gold? gold testing stuff is real expensive.but if you get it and test it , be a sweetie and share with me--yeah right huh? well, it was just a thought! god bless
