IMPORTANT _ READ BEFORE BIDDING!!

This is a beautiful cell phone in great condition! It is dark blue. It doubles as an MP3 player. THIS PHONE WILL NEED TO BE FLASHED BEFORE USING. I do not know how to do it, but I looked it up on the internet and it looks easy enough. If you are unable to flash it, please do not bid. The phone is not scratched, works and plays well. It comes with a house charger. I will ship priority mail. I ship on Saturdays.

Flashing is when you hook it up with a cable to your computer and reconfgure it to use with your phone service. You can download the program to do it - I did a google search it is like 4 steps. But you will have to flash it because it does not have a sims card to swap out.

They are great. I lost my job and was unable to afford the Verizon plan - but the phone is less than a year old and hardly ever used.

Is the ESN clear on it? My hubby is wanting a new phone with a mp3 player I think this would be perfect for him. Besides the quetion about the ESN I have one more if its already a verizon phone and I'm going to have it added to a verizon plan why would it need to be flashed, normally flashing is used to transfer the phone meant for a certain carrier to another carrier that the phone wasn't intented to be used with. So again does it have a clear ESN (no bills owed on it, never reported lost or stolen) and why does it need to be flashed if its a verizon phone and is going to be used with a verizon plan?

That reply didn't answer my questions. Is the ESN clear (no bills owed on the phone, never been reported stolen or lost). Why would it have to be flashed if its a verizon phone and I would be adding it to a verizon plan? I would like to bid on this phone but I would like to have my questions answered before bidding that way I'm sure my hubby can use it and I don't waste my credits if he can't.

You will not be able to use the phone unless it is flashed. The reson behind it is complicated having to do with a contract dispute which I do not care to discuss publicly. Though I appreciate your position I do not think you should bid on it. I mean no disrespect, this is the best answer I can give you.. .

If its involved in a contract dispute than the ESN hasn't been cleared so verizon won't allow it to be activated for any plan contract or prepaid. Thanks for being honest

Two different people have gotten phones, flashed them and are very happy with them. They didn't tell me who they used and I didn't think it was my place to ask, I do know one man told me it was very easy and he is using my old slider phone now and says he loves it.

Listen, I am not trying to rip anyone off. I am not trying to scam anyone. The problem I have with Verizon is personal and I am not a dead beat who doesn't pay what I owe. But only what I owe. I was very clear about the phone - but if the winner wishes to retract their bids for any reason, I will contact Listia and have that done. Please let me know if this is a problem for anyone.
