The listing, Mystical, Magical "Something" has ended.

Intriguing mystical “something”.. Glass has a blue tinge to it..hallmarked on bottom with a “A” and and a design like a moon flower?? Then there is a a symbol like a “1”. Took many, many photos to show it. Top has a screw in and the top opening looks like something you can pour out of. I’m out of my depth here as I have no clue what this is. Magnet sticks to some parts and on others No stick!! Beautiful design..

Perfume?
Holy Water?
Potions??
Oils?

Your guess is as good as mine. Heavy piece..

Nancy, I believe its a kanardly bottle because you kanardly tell what it's for. Well, we know it's not a genie bottle, if it was, after all the times you've dusted it, you would have met your genie by now. Lol

* actually the Moroccan bottles are similar,but the markings & stem are different,kind of like 'knock-offs' of vintage & antique.People bidding,you need to be kind to this awesome lady & bid what this is worth. ;-)

Hello again Nancy! I just read Raven's comment stating that this is a very old Perfume bottle from around 1871. Wow! That's awesome! I'm mot trying to tell you what to do. I am only saying this becuz I want to see you get the most credits that you can for this wonderful item! But if I were you I would add the info about the item that Raven said especially about the year around 1871 becuz not ev1 will read her comments that she wrote and I think you will get more credits now with updating your listing with that info. I think you will attract some of the people who are seriously into the Collectibles and Antiques to your auction. But that's totally up to you! Like I said I'm not trying to tell you how to run your own auction! My sole intention is to help you get the most credits for your very wonderful item!

Hi Nancy.....this is indeed a perfume bottle.It's very old I believe,as my gramma had an almost identical one. The A 1 means silver plate,made before 1871 & the flower probably is the marker of being made in England,as hers had the same markings & she spent much time teaching me about her perfume bottles she'd brought from the UK.Please check your email. ;-) Many Blessings to you-

Very pretty piece, I was curios as well and decided to investigate. I found two similar pieces both claiming to be vintage French perfume bottles from late 1800. One was selling for $200.00. ** Yours was the prettiest by far!! Good luck with your Auction!! & God Bless! :)

I am giggling over the Kanardly comment too!!!! I just had to press the like it button on that one! Wish I could press the like it on this as well! It reminds me of an old perfume bottle. Is there even a faint smell when you take off the cap??? The "A" would usually be the signature of the manufacturer especially where it's located. It looks like it was blown glass too from what I can see of the bottom. Looks like a fun item! At least it's one to make people smile :)

I saw one in a museum and they had it down as an old ink holder to refill the inkwell on the desk. Thought it was a unique and beautiful use. I like it as a perfume bottle better. thank you for sharing Nancy.
