Description

The listing, Antique Handwritten Post Card Feb 16th 1909 Very Unique has ended.

I will be trying for my CLEAN SWEEP badge by listing something in EVERY category! All of these auctions will be for 21 days with NO gin! Just enjoy and have fun!

Here we have a handwritten post card dated feb 16th 1909!!! How cool is that! Even if you don't know these guys to have a piece of history from a guy from over 100 years ago!!! Wow!!

Front of card is an aquatic Beachy theme. With sea weed and sea shells. You can tell from the back (see pictures) the front pops out a little bit. It has shiny gold edges around the picture. In glitter it says "Greetings from Milan, ILL" I'm guessing Illinois??

Doesn't look like it was ever sent. There is no address or postage. But in the postage spot says "place stamp here. Domestic one cent. Foreign two cents"
Hand written says "Feb 16th 1909
Dear Aunt Jennie (?) and cousins. I got home last night at 12 o'clock all well. Will write a letter later. Now you must write and come to see me before long. Your nephew George H. Clark"

Pretty neat!! Some minor wear but what do you expect for 105 years old?!? Lol it's in a protective cover. Not laminated.

This could be used for a bunch of different art projects scrapbooks. If someone was married or born on the 16th or just simply to keep because it's cool!! Hey maybe you know George h Clark! Who knows!!

I will not lower days or gin price (if there is one) please don't ask

All items come from a smoke and pet FREE home!

Ignore that comment about a ballpoint pen. It's not written in ballpoint pen. That's ridiculously obvious. That bidder is trying to get the other bidders to not bid on this card. I'm going to bid on it, but I'm going to bid on it fairly. Good luck!
