If you look at the picture where the phone is apart I have shown the battery inserted an also the SIM card inserted. The Sim card is right below the battery on the left side . It is white.Thank you an for F/W I will do the same for you :)

I had given the year before to someone else that asked in the comments. It is a 03/30/2012. Make an model were given in the listing. This was purchased when it very first came out.
