The listing, 128GB Samsung mSATA SSD has ended.

This was pulled from a dell xps 13 a week ago. I never even fired the laptop up with this installed. I purchased 480GB drives and put those in instead. It still has Windows 8 loaded on it but you can do a clean install and write over that.

It is a mini ssd which connects differently than a normal ssd

How many years of college have you had in computer science and computer software programming ? Do a bing search typ mini PCI-e express then hit images!

It is a mini pcie express card that connects to a mSATA connection. 4 years w/degree, 6 years in Air Force as 3D071 and 4 years as IT Manager

It is more for an ultrabook or laptop with mSATA connection but you could get a SATA to mSATA adapter for a desktop and this will work fine.

Mostly for a laptop with a mSATA connection. If you aren't sure I would ask someone who could install it for you if it would work with your laptop.
