This Beautiful Knife is Rare and Hard to Find!

It is an Old Fashioned 'TROUBLESOME CREEK' Fishtail Jigged Bone Handle Pocket Knife!

This Knife has a few tiny cracks and scratches due to light use and old age and the blade edges need to be sharpened.

Otherwise IT LOOKS ALMOST LIKE NEW!!

The blades open and close with a snap and have the half stops.

It has the Real High Buff Polish Heavy NICKEL-SILVER Bolsters and Brass Pins!

There are 2 Inner Liners that are Made of Solid Brass!

On the main blade it says:
TROUBLESOME CREEK!

I believe that this Knife was made from somewhere in the Old Eastern Kentucky Region.

The size is: ( 5 & 7/8" Open ) and ( 3 & 3/8" Closed ).
The Main Blade is about: ( 2 & 17/32" Long ).
The Pin Blade is ( 2 & 1/2" Long ).

The Knife is brighter than the photos, as the pictures were taken indoors.

"TROUBLESOME CREEK ~ IN KENTUCKY"
Some people say Troublesome Creek is 99 miles long and is considered to be one mile short of being a river. Its source begins near the Floyd County line and then flows southwest through Knott, Hindman, Perry Counties, and then feeds into the North Fork of the Kentucky River at Haddix, in Breathitt County. The first permanent settlers to Troublesome Creek began bringing their families to live there in the 1790s and early 1800s.

The knife stand in the photos is not included.

A while back, I found out that there actually is a newspaper called Troublesome Creek Times in Hindman, Kentucky.

Much appreciated.☺
Yes, it really is a great knife.
But there really isn't hardly any of these Vintage Kentucky Troublesome Creek Knives around.
I believe, the reason is because they didn't make very many of them.
