It's time to step out of your comfort zone of neutral eyeshadows ...

The Kat Von D Chrysalis Eyeshadow Palette is a "cool toned", purple, blue, and smoky eye palette. It’s made up of a total of 12 eyeshadow colors. Three are larger base shades which you can use to highlight, blend with, or to use as an all over base to prep lids. The other nine shades are dubbed transformative accent hues. The palette is beautifully arranged with plenty of shades to mix and match. Each shadow is creamy, pigmented, and blends like a dream. The nice thing about these shadows is that they are arranged in trios so it takes the guest work out of matching up shades. Each shadow grouping has three contrasting shades that work well together. Of course, you can match and mix and cocktail shades in anyway you choose.

Right? I have a habit of sticking to neutrals but when I saw this palette in Sephora a few weeks ago, I knew I needed it in my life! LOL! So I bought it, took it home, played with it & fell in love with everything about this palette, not to mention the fact that I can actually pull off a look with color & not look like a sad, old clown! LOL! The next time I was in Sephora I grabbed another palette plus the eyeliner & mascara to put up on Listia bc when I come across a great product I like to share with my Listia family :)! Thank u! I've heard great things about her line of cosmetics but out of everything I have, I had nothing from her. When I saw the colors in this palette I fell in love & bought one for myself. It was so amazing that I had to get another for Listia. Blue lipstick is very popular right now. Lipstick Queen makes one & NYX has their Macaron line. I have the blue lipstick from the Milani Bella Blue set :)! It's not as heavily pigmented as the others, which for me is good bc of my age. Plus I think if I left my house with straight up blue lipstick on, my teenaged sons would have a fit! LOL! Thank u for checking out my auction ... Ugh! Hitting pan is the worst! Especially when it's your go-to color & u don't wanna spend like $50 on a whole new palette just for 3 colors! There's a website that u type in the brand & color & it gives u an exact dupe for it. I've used it on more than 1 occasion. Like kat von d doesn't sell single shadows but other companies do so if I can find a good dupe for a reasonable price I go for it!

No problem! I don't de-pot my palettes & I always keep them in their original boxes but some cosmetic companies do sell individual pots (u obviously know this already. LOL!). But I suggest u getting a Z-Palette if u are one that travels alot & doesn't want to carry a bunch of different palettes, blushes, bronzers, etc ... or if u just like to make your own combination of eyeshadows & whatnot from different palettes. Go check out Beautylish boutique. They sell a lot of high end cosmetics plus Z-Palettes (they just started carrying OCC!!!) Plus as a new customer u get 10% off & there's an option to pay in 45 days. They also have awesome articles & whatnot. Very cool website :)! I order from them, like, every 45 days :)!
