The listing, 5 coin auction!! 2.4 ounces of pure .999 silver has ended.

This is a 5 coin auction!! You will get 4 lawmen series .999 pure silver coins and a pf69 ultra cameo 1993s james Madison 50 cent piece.

each lawmen coin has .6 of an oz. of pure .999 silver in it that's a total of 2.4 ozs. whole coins weigh over 37 grams each.

1.Wyatt Earp

2.Wild Bill Hickok

3.J.H. "Doc" Holiday

4.Bartholomew "Bat" Masterson

5.1993 pf69 ultra cameo s James Madison 50 cent piece.

These are the last four lawmen series coins I have. I think they are the best ones I had also, not just because of the popularity of the people depicted but because there is more artwork in the silver section of the coins than the other ones I have sold here on listia. there seems to have been at least 2 different versions of each coin, ones with just the persons face closeup and another version with same face but only smaller with other artwork as well in background. for example take a look at the wild bill Hickok coin this one has the deadmans hand as they call it now, aces over 8s because that's the hand he had when he was shot in the back of the head in the number 10 saloon in deadwood. and all four coins have the added artwork..

crazy lady said they were selling coins like this on ebay for 99 cents .. I searched ebay and found one wild bill coin like these for $40.00 . far cry from 99 cents. id buy them all for 99 cents.

I agree the value is roughly 1,000 to 1,300 = $1USD otherwise buying credits
28,000 for $40 isn't bad if the item is worthwhile to bid bump up your bid

Here's the deal:
You say each coin weighs .6oz. Are you talking standard oz or troy oz. Standard oz is 28.34 grams and troy oz is 31.10. It does not state anywhere on the coin troy oz. so you have to weigh the coins and find the total grams and divide by 31.1 to get the amount of troy ounces because precious metals are valued by troy ounces, not standard ounces.

The value of your coins or any coin is the highest amount that a person is willing to pay for them. Now if your talking about the value of the metal that would be the current market value of silver, which is approximately 20 dollars an ounce. The 50 cent piece is legal currency, the other 4 are not because they were not issued by the government. That means you cannot spend them as you would a silver dollar.
I am a numismatist and from my standpoint I would much rather have real currency rather than commemorative coins not minted by the government. A lot of coin collectors like to collect these type of coins and that's because they are very beautifully designed. I have a few of them myself, but most of my coins are morgan silver dollars and most are graded ms63 or better. Aside from all this information I'd like to thank you for putting these on listia because I never new they were out there. They depict a very interesting part of American History, so good luck with your auction.

well that's your opinion and your welcome to it.. but the way I see it.. it doesn't matter if its us currency or not.. its not like im going to spend it as currency even if it is currency. just doesn't make sense to.and really im not quite sure about if it was a troy oz. or regular oz. was just told when I bought them years ago that they were .6 of an oz of pure .999 silver.. didn't matter to me if I could spend them like coins or not, would be pretty stupid to do so in my book.

This is meant to clarify my comment. I meant no harm in anyway, nor was it meant to discredit you or your listing. If I was an avid collector of silver commemoratives I would be bidding on your coins. If anything I said was taken offensively, I apologize, that was not my intention. Silver is a great investment and most certainly will rise in price. The latest prediction by the experts say that the market value silver could rise to $200.00 or even higher in the next 5 years.

I agree silver is a great investment, I only put these on here to be a nice guy and sell just a taste of my collection, i didn't take your comment the wrong way, its your opinion. but others might take it a different way. but thanks for clarifying that for us, i appreciate it. but what ive learned about listia in my short time here is that there are people out there who like to discredit peoples auctions for fun it seems, maybe because they r jealous or maybe they are just ignorant and immature or just crazy like the lady i banned below.
