The JBL WR2.4 wireless headphones let you move freely without the constraints of a cord. The WR2.4s operate in the 2.4 GHz (UHF) frequency range to give you clear reception up to approximately 65 feet (20 meters). The headphones come with a wireless transmitter that doubles as a charging base, two "AAA" rechargeable batteries, a power supply, and a stereo 3.5mm-to-RCA adapter cable.

Drivers: The WR2.4 over-the-ear headphones feature large 40mm drivers in a lightweight semi-closed design. The 32-ohm drivers give you crystal-clear stereo for enjoying your music or watching your favorite movie or TV show.

Transmitter: The 2.4 GHz compact transmitter uses a digital wireless connection to stream the audio to the headphones without bothersome artifacts. The 65' range gives you plenty of room to move about. On the back, a switch lets you attenuate the input signal by -8dB for TVs, VCRs, DVDs, and other Hi-Fi sources. When connecting portable devices that typically have lower signal outputs, the attenuator switch should be set to 0dB. The transmitter has a stereo RCA input for connecting your audio source, and comes with a stereo 3.5mm-to-RCA adapter cable.

Power Requirements: The WR2.4 operates on two "AAA" Nickel-Metal Hydride (Ni-MH) rechargeable batteries (supplied). The batteries will fully charge in approximately 5-7 hours (a 7-hour initial charge is recommended). Fully charged batteries will give you over 8 hours of continuous playback time. The transmitter/charger base is powered by an AC adapter with a 5-volt 550mA DC output.

LED Indicators: The WR2.4 headphones have a couple of LEDs to indicate the status of the product. When the headphones are powered on, a red LED will glow. The green Signal LED will flash when the wireless link is being established. Once the signal is established, the green LED will glow solid.
