The listing, Zamorano dragon fruit live plant has ended.

This variety was collected from the agriculture university in Honduras for which it is named. It is a medium to large sized fruit typically weighing 0.5-1.0 lbs. The flesh is incredibly dark red and has a sweet mild flavor. Larger fruit size is achieved with hand pollination, but this variety will set fruit on its own. This variety is versatile and can be eaten as fresh fruit, juiced for a drink, or used as a garnish.

This live plant is very heathy. has plenty of roots. it is also is starting to grow bigger. it is about 9in long. will big much bigger when all the biding is over.

In South Carolina, zone 7, can these be left outside or will they need to come inside?

i would plant in a big pot. until it gets bigger. to put in the ground. train it to grow up is always best till your ready to let it start hanging over.

If you leave them out, mulch the bottom of the vine. Be patient, they take 7 years to fruit but are worth the wait. Very good for digestion.

you may be right for where ever it is you live. my mine do not take that long. where I'm at it don't get to cold. so the heat really helps them grow fast.
