i'm trying to get credits because as some of you know, the sweetest little girl named kalee lives downstairs from me. she came from a very dysfunctional family; dad's in prison and mom's a drug addict who dropped her off w/her elderly gramma despite the fact that grams fixed income is barely enough for one and not easy for her to raise a granddaughter alone. about 2 years ago, this little girl befriended me and melted my heart. they are now like my 2nd family. this is the same little girl whom i won ALL the monster high dolls for on here and enrolled in dance classes i teach (btw... she's a natural at it... either that or i'm a really good instructor... hehe prolly both :0) anyway... i've been trying my best to keep "normalcy" in this girl's life.
She is now 12 y.o. and starting MiddLe ScHooL.i posted this auction with great hope to earn up credits to get a lap top for her. sooooo what do you say fellow listia buds...? i reaLLY need some help with this.... i will also be posting a MEGA littlest pet shop auction with play sets and tons & tons of pets, as soon as i get a decent camera to shoot some pics.

This is a TERRIFIC auction and you are a WONDERFUL person. What a wonderful thing to do. That little girl is blessed to have met someone so kind and giving, to make her world just a little bit better and a little bit easier. I am sorry that her parents aren't great people and it always breaks my heart when I hear stories like this. It makes me want to save the world....( I know that isn't possible....lol. ). But, I always feel a little bit better when I hear a story such as your's and someone finding those lost children and helping them.

If you ever need any specific items you are looking for the little girl please feel free to contact me. I always do children's auctions for various items whether it is clothes, shoes, toys etc. They are almost always Brand New With Tags or In the Package.

i think the reason i am so drawn to this family is because i can relate to "being sad that parents are gone" feeling.

my parents passed away in a tragic & unexpected death when i was younger and it was/is devastating and if i can prevent any of what i went through for kalee, well then it's all worthwhile. right?

We haves lot in common as I am raising my nephew. His father died of leukemia and his mom is addicted to meth. He's been with me for almost 10 years (he's 16). It's just him and I. My only fun is winning stuff on Listia as I am disabled and am on SSD. Good luck with everything and God Bless You.

bless your heart for taking him in. although your situation is much more deserving praise, i can somewhat relate to the challenging responsibilities you must experience. i'm sorry to hear about his dad, and his mom i don't know what to say.... meth must be a POWERFUL, mind altering drug for people to chose it over their own children and that is unjustifiable PURE selfishness. kudos to YOU for being the awesome person you are! thanks for sharing your story.
