btw Your grandmother's sugar bowl looks so great in my corner china cabinet.I really love it! It's so pretty and looks so good with my other crystal pieces! I see it first thing every morning when I walk down the stairs and think of you! Awwwwww! Ain't that so sweet? Don't that just melt your heart? lolololololol. But it's true!! :)

I got my credits ready, Nancy! Just waiting for you to reveal your next "treasure" so I can swoop it up and add it to some of mine! lol. (wishful thinking on my part, mostly) lol

Went to an estate sale on Sat....well actually went to a lady's house to do a local pickup who lived about 30 mins from me on 5 auctions of hers that I won that didn't get very high bids at all becuz of the shipping charges that she listed on them....... but I didn't pay any of them becuz I picked them up for free! Hooray for me!! She was very nice and we got to talking(surprise surprise), not really, not with me. I can talk to just about anybody, anytime about anything and anywhere! lolololololol But she told me that she was getting ready to go to an estate sale just down the street a few blocks from where she lived and I asked her if could follow her to it and she said sure! So I did and I got some fabuous finds there! OMG! I was so thrilled with what I found & bought! I bought a solid brass sword about 16" long with a really cool handle that weighs about 3-4 lbs, very heavy and it reminds me of the kind the pirates use in the movies! And it has a sign on it that says "Turkey" So, it was made in Turkey! And it's just a beautiful item and I really love it! I also found a vinyl album with JFK on the cover and it's a recording with portions of some of the speeches that he made while in office! Another reeeeeaaaaaaalllllllllly cool find!
Plus I got like 5 or 6 Cookbooks that are in Like New Condition from popular places like Southern Living, Home & Gardens etc for just a buck each! Yayyyyyyy! Made me very happy! I love to cook and am always looking for new (or old) recipes that I can try out!

Well, gotta go! Its my dogs bed time! Every night at 10 PM its nighty night for my 2 babies! (4 yr old mixed labs that are brothers!) lol That's when I get my peace & quiet!

Had a wonderful mini-vacation for Labor Day Weekend! Went to Branson, Mo. (one of my most fave places to visit!) Every year they have a Southern Gospel Week at Silver Dollar City that goes through Labor Day and I had won 2 tickets to Silver Dollar City from our church auction several months ago for a fraction of their actual cost! So, that was already paid for! Stayed at a beautiful Resort with tons of amenities like indoor & outdoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi, exercise room, shuffleboard, volleyball bbq gas grills....which we grilled chicken on and was delicious!! also bike rentals, hiking trails, activities all day long including a build your own ice cream sundae for only $2! Can't beat that with a stick! lol Heard some awesome Gospel Groups and just had a great time altogether! Saw a musical called Jonah & the Whale from the Bible story and this humongous whale floated off stage and over the heads of the audience and all around the theatre! It was the most awesome thing I've ever seen! Itr was a musical and told the story from the Bible and the singing & acting were just tremendous! It also had live animals like horses, llamas and goats that walked down the aisles and then onto the stage and several trained birds that flew around at certain times. It was just an awesome show, period! Top notch all the way! Loved it so much........bought the T-shirt! lololololol.
