The listing, Nikon D70 Digital SLR Camera with Nikkor 18-55mm VR Lens has ended.

This auction is for a Nikon D70 digital SLR camera with 18-55mm Vibration Reduction AF lens. It's a FANTASTIC Nikon camera; I'm giving this one away because I replaced it with a D200; I can't keep both.

It is in excellent condition - no issues whatsoever. All functions work perfectly. I've taken pictures of it turned on, and I've tried to show all the relevant details. Please ask me if you have any specific questions that I haven't already covered here.

Specifications:
Image resolution - 6mp - I've made enlargements up to 13-19 inches with no pixelation.
Batteries: Includes two rechargeable batteries plus a charger that plugs into the wall outlet or into your car's cigarette lighter
Memory card: Included is a 2GB Compact flash card
Lens: Nikkor DX 18-55mm VR lens - great for everyday use; covers from wide angle for group shots and landscapes to short telephoto for portraits and closer up shots.
Camera strap: Included

How is it for taking pics of the moon and used thru a Mead telescope (with correct adapter) for pics of planets? Just curious :-) I have a Kodak EasyShare DX7590 5.0 MEGA PIXELS 10x Zoom and I am hoping yours would be a upgrade.

I'm not sure why you're confused - that's basically the same camera, although this is a D70 and that is a D70s - only difference is a 2 inch screen vs a 1.8 inch screen on the D70. Also, the lens included with the camera I'm selling is a newer 18-55mm VR Nikkor, rather than the 18-70mm AFS Nikkor paired with the camera in the Amazon listing you linked. I hope that answers your question.

I don't have a USB cable for it- I always used my card reader. You can get a cable on eBay though for less than $5. Good luck bidding!
