Questions & Comments
Original
Most seasoned users have thoroughly read the terms and conditions of this site. You will find Listia actually encourages the use of PayPal in the following links:

1.) http://www.listia.com/support/topic/avoiding_scams?from=4
2.) http://www.listia.com/rules

---
You're probably wondering why people are thinking your auction is a scam.

1.) You are a new user listing a big ticket item. Yes, you can verify yourself, but you have not physically shipped an item out which is making people question you.
2.) You have not shown the device turned on. Trust me, the winner will NOT chastise you for opening the box. Just as long as you show evidence that the device is what you claim it to be. If anything, they'll be happy. Turn on the phone, go to Settings > General > About and all of the information is listed there.
3.) You won't accept any other forms of payment. I can understand why you won't accept checks, cash, money orders, but I don't understand why you won't accept a shipping label? You only have to print the label and paste on the box. You have also reached level 1 verification. Even if you used a credit card, it was sent from your bank account and you paid Listia $1 via Paypal which means your Paypal account can receive and send money and is currently active. That is why we are confused.
4.) You are hiding comments.

I'm not writing this to evoke a negative response from you, but to help your auction. If you can show the phone turned on with the information, you'd probably have around 100k by tomorrow morning. If you can give a legitimate reason on why exactly you are denying the use of Paypal, that would be great too. Otherwise, people will plaque your auction with accusations and threats to flag it down. I really do hope you take what I wrote into consideration. It will literally increase your bids tenfold.
Thank you,
~Jessica

The thing is, if the iphone is as fake as you say it is, you can just get your money back and report me to listia to get the credits back?

You should be more than willing to accept a pre paid shipping label but the fact that you're making people pay via stellar which is some unknown company, tell everyone this is some sort of scam....come on!

1. Stellar is unknown
2. Im a scam?
Also I can't understand the last bit "Tell everyone this is some sort of scam... come on" so your making me tell everyone that this is some sort of scam? Um. This isn't a scam "Lluckygirl07". (Nice Username BTW Would trust someone with that username every day!)

If you are unable to get a PayPal, how did you verify your account with it?

"I know about the getting abused part :( But what other way of verification do I have? I have linked twitter, Facebook, i have verified my account by phone and by paypal. I am working on my wings now.."

My iPhone was wrapped when I bought it at the apple store. I don't know what the big deal is with people. Even if this auctions did turn out a scam they get their credits back.
I'm watching this one, good luck

I was going to bid a lot of credits, however you only accept stellar... which I refuse to use, it has many complaints used against it.

Also the fact you don't accept anything but stellar is a RED FLAG.

Apple products doesn't wrap the plastic like the one your are showing, this is a fake iphone from china, why don't you open it and turn it on, you will still get the same credits if the iphone is new like you stated.

It doesn't cost $10 to ship a small box so he's probably just going to keep your paypal money and never send it.

Come on people lets give him a chance... We were all newbies at one time... Let's give him a chance to prove himself... I was leery about using PayPal at first but now it is my choice of Payment for everything... He chooses Stellar, although; I have never heard of it or used it I'm willing to give it a try... He has been responding to your questions and comments that says something positive about him... We all need to be a bit more accepting of our new fellow Listians... Give him a chance to prove himself without all of the negativity... Have a great day everyone ! (o=... Welcome gibot and good luck to you !

Hello..FYI...There are two types of phones,CDMA & GSM ..Even with a SIM card, the two different types of phones ARE NEVER COMPATIBLE...You can not use a GSM phone on a CDMA network, visa-versa...If phone is a Sprint carrier, it WILL NEVER work on Verizon, etc..I have an important question...Is this phone stolen or is it linked to an unpaid bill? I have had several I won like this so I have to ask. Which carrier is this from originally? I can tell you which towers it uses. TY.
Sep 7th, 2014 at 4:47:58 AM PDT by

It is not stolen nor does it belong to an unpaid bill. It is factory Unlocked. no carrier, will have to check out the gsm thing thought
