Description

The listing, 180 Assorted Baseball Cards from the 80s and 90s has ended.

I have a ton of cards and this is the first lot up for grabs! I'm not going to list all the names etc so take a look at the pics. Will ship these out in their existing sheets. There are two cards in each space. Happy hunting!

Way to crap on someone's auction, chrisfrost444....
Just because you don't think that a card holds $$$ value does not mean that it doesn't have any kind of value to a real collector.......Learn the difference between an investor and a collector ;)

hirshkis... LIST IT ALL, EVERYTHING YOU CAN AFFORD TO SHIP FOR FREE AND DONT WANT OR NEED ANY LONGER!! I have tons of things left over from a store I had and 3 apartments over the last 20 years and selling all these un wanted items actually pays for about 1/2 of things I do need!
On the other hand I think this is a GREAT lot of cards, Listia is an impulse buyers and sellers paradise ! One persons discarded (No pun intended of course) items are another REAL treasures! L@@K at these cards, I owned a collectibles shop in the 90's and yeah ok that period was bad for "Rare" items but James has ALL the cards in what looks to be MINT or close to it condition and thats JUST RIGHT for a collector new to the hobby! James i think you deserve a FEW pats on yur back for bringing such nice things to someones attention. WHY would ANYONE want to lessen THAT I have no idea :(
Lots of luck James, and dont take ANY of the comments here to heart, everyone thinks they are saying and doing the right thing my friend :)

This is one of the best comments I've ever read! As I kid I used a Beckett to classify all the cards. At the time a card worth 50 cents was so valuable to me that it deserved a space in sheet. Cards $1 and over went into individual sleeves... which I'll be posting soon!

James I used the very same Beckett's guide and in fact had a hard time finding it at news stands because THAT was popular and collectible as well! (Remember they started selling it in a plastic bag for collectors, lol?) Thanks for the thumbs up James, I just call em as I see em friend :)

True I keep thinking media mail equates to paper for some reason. They will go out regular mail

It's FRAUD to mail Media Mail and get caught...a Felony, if they want to make an example of you....but you would probably get at least a fine....not just having to pay postage due....Your better off mailing everything legit....and of course honesty is a good habit to get into....:)

18 years ago someone gave my newborn son a satchel full of cards. We have no idea what to do with them. Guess I could list them here on Listia and see what happens. Thanks for the idea and good luck!

I guess I am both a collector and an invested. What I have gotten off here is in my personal collection. I been listing a bunch of stuff on here to save up credits to get good stuff. That's probable what you are doing. You are new. Just trying to help you put. Put like one good card in there to sweeten the lot. You will get lot more bids. Good luck

I am just talking about the cards he listed. Yes I know there are really good cards out there. Case breaking. And finding 1/1 cards is really hot. There is so many subsets out there. I am talking about the sets of the late 80's and early 90's. Way over produced. You can get sets for 5$. I am not bashing your auction. I am just trying to help you out.

@Manx I don't think he was "crap"ing on the guys auction, he was giving him some advice. 99% of people who collect cards aren't going to over bid on something without any monetary value, no matter how "real" a collector is. I'm not trying to bust your chops either, but c'mon, take the comment for what it is...sound advice. After all, the person asked for suggestions.

I know quite a bit about baseball cards. I only see a few 1$ cards. And the rest are common cards. I can pick up these kind of cards for pennies on the 10$. Just to let you know these cards don't have any value to a collector. Just maybe the couple Nolan Ryan's but that's it. Good luck on your auctions
