The story about the phone is that this is a replacement phone. I had the LG Optimus Dynamic II for about 2 months, then it died. Since it was under warranty, I got a replacement phone from Tracfone.

But in the meantime, my kids convinced me to join their plan.so I got a new phone and no longer need the Tracfone.

I liked the Android service from Tracfone and it was very easy to use and I had good coverage.

All you do is go on website or call since it is new number & mins will transfer to new phone it is easy I have done it a few times

Yes, it's very easy to transfer an existing number from one Tracfone to a new Tracfone. I've done it bunches of times.

I don't know the answer to that. When I bought the LG Optimus Dynamic II (the one that died 2 months after I had it), I transferred my phone number and my minutes from my old phone, but not my SIM card. I don't think you can use the exact SIM card from your old phone, but I'm not entirely sure. If you want, you could call Tracfone customer service and ask.

You have to call tracfone to switch over ,then they send you a new sim card ,then you have to call them again to activate it. It all takes about five working days. You are out of a phone until then.

That's only if you get a Tracfone that has already been activated once. This one is new and has never been activated.

Sim cards can not be changed but because this is new with a new sim you just transfer your old number & mins to the new phone
