The listing, Hand crafted wooden cigar box antique? Creepy. has ended.

Not sure who made this box, but it is nice. Would like to just get rid of it because I believe it may have some negative things attached to it. Meaning I have had strange things happen in the house ever since I brought this home, even had an extra picture show up when I took photos for listing, I did not take this photo which is the last photo. I have included the photo taken not by me, strange indeed. Picked it up from a garage sale 2 years ago. All wood is engraved by hand and the inside is red velvet. Maybe another listia member can give some information as to its origins. Any questions please feel free to ask. Free shipping.

Looks like Sheesham wood, and by the thin hand made hinges...I would say it's made in India. By it size...an old tarot card box?

This box is beyond gorgeous. I love creepy things but I love boxes even more. Also I know how to cleanse the box if it were to end up being jn any way haunted or attached to someone. I have many smudging sticks oils and protective stones. I am very intrigued by the box and its beauty. I fanned you im watching and bidding! I swear I saw a movie not to long ago about a haunted box that a girl picked up at a garage sale and it had a very negative spirit attached to it which caused a great deal of havoc for those who owned it. Sorry but I ain't touching that one...LO L!!!

Length 6 1/2 inches width is 4 1/2 and height/depth is 1 1/2 inches . Hope this helps.

I have a box very similar to this one on my dresser right now that my husband has that used to be his moms! We love it! It is very special to us and still smells the same as it did when he was a kid!

Sorry Ashley, it is only my assumption of negative energy because of the things that have happened around the house ie knocking footsteps. I am not 100% positive if it is this box or not, could be a coincidence. I live across the street from a very old High School which has tunnels and were used to store the deceased during the flu epidemic in 1907. These tunnels run past my house. So could be that. Well I did like it until I read your description.! I do not want to bring anything negative into my home but DO NOT burn the box. If a negative eagerly is really attached to this box and If you burn the box the negative energy will be stuck and u will have a much harder time getting rid of it.!! Good luck finding a new owner for it hopefully someone that buys it will now how to do a cleansing f the object!!
