listia has a limit on the number of people you can fan.then you have to wait for a certain amount of people to fan you before you can start fanning people again. weird and stupid. hope that helps

Great auction hon. Sorry to see you are leaving Listia. I understand the shipping thing and I am also on a fixed income so it gets harder and harder to provide free shipping. I have found several ways to save on shipping and have gotten very creative. If ever you want to consider ideas to help you stay, let me know and I will share everything I can with you. When I first started on Listia, I did well on auctions but spent a fortune on shipping using flat rate and priority boxes. Since then, I joined Stamps.com through Listia's special offers. Listia credited my account 11,000 credits for joining and stamps.com gave me a $50 scale for $4.99 shipping. It is a 30 day free trial and you can cancel before the 30 days are up so you won't be charged the monthly fee of $17.99. I decided to stay because I saved about $83 my first month alone on shipping costs. It is not right for everyone but using usps.com to print shipping labels is also less money than the post office. They really rip you off. Anyway, I have many other ways so pick my brain if you feel the need. Best wishes. :) L

I hate to see you leave, but I know what you mean. I haven't been listing things lately because of the cost of shipping. I've tried to start the auctions high enough to make it worth the shipping cost, then had complaints about that. :o( Some people just don't understand what it means to be on a fixed income. I'm thinking about trying a couple auctions charging full or partial shipping cost, but haven't decided yet.

You have an awesome auction here--too bad they won't fit me (I'm super-sized lol). Fanned and hope to keep seeing you around Listia.

It was going to be only the third of the month and then things changed I am shutting down my Listia account it is costing me more money to ship things out then it would be to go out and buy the stuff
