She is so cute. she has a soft tummy & little toy & her arms, legs & head are plastic.

i saw her at a shop & had to get her. no marks or smells on her. i just freshly laundered her.

I love your comment about race. I'm white, and if we ever have a little girl, I'll be putting up some of Disney's princess Tiana who is black. I don't care, and I don't think anyone else should. Because underneath the pigment of our skin, we're all the same.

You sure said it. My Mom , who I lost 4 yrs ago, raised me & my brother as a single parent... She was German & Polish & my father, who I stay in touch with, is black. I had white dolls, I think, all y life & it didnt bother me none... She was Barbie.... who cares about the color. Im quite ashamed to be a human at times... eems like so many are stuck on stupid. LOL

Hi Kelly. I too love the comment on color/race. Too many people in this messed up world judge by that unfortunately:( Makes me so sad. My youngest daughter married a WONDERFUL black man & he's better to us than my biological son is. They gave me my first grandchild/first grandson & I was in the room for delivery & treasure that. They have 3 beautiful children & their kids are the only ones of my 6 grandkids who aren't "picky" which is such a joy. I always wanted a black baby myself LOL but wasn't brave enough to fight that battle 30 years ago but am so glad my daughter was because my son-in-law has been such a blessing & is a very responsible young man. Sorry for the ramble:/ I'll be watching & bidding close to the end because I like this doll & think she'll be a great gift:) Thank you for a wonderful auction. Fanned you:)

Thanks for sharing ur story... It's SUCH a WONDERFUL WORLD, once people take their heads out of the sand & WAKE THE HECK UP! LOL. Im sure ur daughter's child is gorgeous... Mixed kids are the prettiest, well, in my book. LOL.. Nah, every child is perfect, an image of God & his LOVE for all of us... I am sorry to hear about ur son... Give him time, He will have NO choice but to be humble or, GET humbled!

U know, my MoM, may she Rest in Peace, was German & Polish & when she started dating my father, it was the late 1960's, u know, the LAST generation that stood up to the Establishment btw, lol, Well, she told me he walked her home one night & my Grandma was on the Porch & she took ONE look at my dad, Ran to my Mother & said, " WHY DONT U JUST STICK A KNIFE IN MY HEART!" I joke about it but, my poor dad, totally uncalled for! I loved my Grandma & even though I was her 2nd grandchild, I lived with her so she spent alot of time with me & fell under "MY SPELL",lol

Funny thing is, my Dear Aunt, May she Rest in Peace, she married my Uncle Charlie & because he took her & eloped, My Grandmother HATED him, & he was RIGHT from Sicily.... My mom told me when My uncle Charlie, he's a great guy, came over, My Grandma would turn the HOSE on him.. My Grandma was a pistol ! I have always loved black dolls . I asked my mom for one when I was 2 yrs old she could never find one . Now I have a lot and just love them all. I was broth up to believe that God made us all the same that he made us like a rainbow :) and loved us all the same and my kids were brought up the same way and I'm doing the same with my wonderful Grandkids . My family is very mixed and maybe even mixed up :)) My Brother has a half black son and he is loved by us all & I have cousins that are mixed. We also have Irish and Native American and my Grandfather use to say we were all American because we even had Hillbilly in us :) My Husbands family came from Poland the family name is on Elis Island .

I think I would have loved your grandma:) Mine pretty much raised me & she's STILL very set in her "old" ways but I love her dearly:) She's not as feisty as yours though. I was a geriatrics nurse for over 25 years & my favorite patients were the crotchety ones lol because you never know what they're going to fuss about. I loved all their stories too:) So far on here I haven't met up with any "racist" remarks but I'm sure they're here as popular as the sight is. I just don't get why people don't comprehend God made us ALL in HIS image, not just whites:( And you can't tell by looking at my picture but I have a VERY "melting pot" ancestry: Irish, Scottish, American Indian, French, & most likely black somewhere because of some of our family traits & I'm proud of them all. That's SUPPOSED to be what America's about, isn't it? Sorry for the ramble again but I enjoy visiting with you.
