It was called cubs park from 1920-1926.Built in 1914 as Weeghman park cubs 1st, game was on April 20,1916 they beat the Reds by a score of 7-6 in 11 innings.Called cubs park from 1920-1926 offically becoming wrigley field in 1927 ,it is the oldeat national league ballpark and 2nd. oldest active park after fenway park which opened on 4-20-1912. lighting was installed in 1988 abd in 1927 a upper deck was added & in 1937, Bill Veeck son of club president planted ivy against the outfield wall.
