This is a small bronze prutah coin, issued under Alexander Jannaeus, 103-76 BC. Also known as the "Widow's Mite", this coin is mentioned in the Bible and was widely used during the time of Jesus. The widow's mite features the "Star of Eight Rays" on one side and the other shows an anchor. Although this coin shows wear from its great age (2100 years) and has lost some of the details, it's still a great coin to have in your collection as a genuine coin from Biblical times.
