No, the security key is the "password" to access the router and get on the internet. It is the same key that you would use to get on the internet with your laptop.

Some wireless router manufacturers set a default security key or password which may be on the bottom of your router or in the router’s documentation. Look for the following terms:

Security Key
Wireless Key
WPA Key
WPA2 Key
WEP Key

As far as I know, you can't turn the tablet into a wifi hotspot, where other devices can connect to your tablet to connect to the internet. The tablet will connect to the internet using radio waves to a nearby, useable Wifi hotspot, as long as you have the security key. In other words, the tablet will not function as a router.

The tablet has a built in wifi card.

It can connect to wifi, but cannot broadcast a signal. It does not and can not have a data plan. You can connect to WiFi with the tablet. It allows you to connect to any WiFi hotspots in range.

Is there anything wrong with it?
How's the battery life?
Also how is the touch on it? I got a 10 inch on Listia and the touch is a bit sticky. Like I really have to press hard for it to respond. So compared to typing on an iPhone it's definality way more time consuming since i have to press hard every letter.
Is the touch pretty fluid on this?
