Maybe it was just the knife i had because it was a pocket knife and the lock to keep the blade in place sucked

It may have been. Like any product, it's possible it was just a faulty knife in the batch.

Great Auction I agree with cj any item at any store can just be faulty from the manufacturer but can't blame the store for getting something in they ordered that just happened to be maybe from a bad batch happens all the time can only return it within the return time or use the manufacturer warranty and with knives even if they are put of warranty 99% of the time if you contact the manufacturer they will replace the item they don't want people using a faulty knife with their name on it it gives them a bad name so when a store won't work with you always try the maker which with today's technology you can find how to get a hold to just about anyone with a simple smartphone in your hand and I'm an oldie but had to learn to keep up with my kids and grandchild! Great knife Auction would make a wonderful gift for my Son for Christmas thanks for listing it!!
