dont blame listia for these prices .... its these greedy people listing gift cards that ruined everything.......it was 1$ for 1000 credits until uneducated people started bidding 80,000 on 50$ amazon cards in the rewards store and from sellers.....then the whole silver rush thing where people bid 80,000 for a 20$ piece of silver also ruined things.....so dont blame listia blame the users

No matter how you slice it, the rewards store prices have gotten ridiculous, and this listing proves it. When have you ever seen a Wii U last this long in the rewards store without being bought quickly? If listia is trying to become a bigger brand, increasing these prices to more and more offensive levels is definitely not the way to do it.

It must be time for Listia to increase their prices again, it's been a week since the last increase.

There is this one seller on here who was the only one selling ebay gift cards for a while, actually there was 2 of them, & i swear it was him who did this to the entire listia community. I thought to myself, how can 1 person do this but it was clear when he bought up four 3ds xl's from the rewards store in 1 day. At 175,000 credits, Its scary that 1 person could come on here & tons of buyers played his game. With in 2 months the rewards store raised their prices. I was so angry. I had commented on one of the outragous gift cards they had listed just last year & i got yelled out by a member saying, its so nice of this guy to list a gift card why would you be at his prices? Go away. I was like, are you kidding me?
Ive been frustrated for over a year about this insane inflation. Last year games in the rewards store were 26,000 now i see they are in the 50,000 credit range. Im sooo frustrated. But hey all, theres a new site that just came out. Its called....well, email me if you wanna know it. Hehe was that mean? Lol

This is crazy, if I were to buy this it says I'd have to pay $184.29 along with my whopping 217,000 credits. So with my 217k, I'd still have to pay the retail price also when I cane asily go to the store and spend 200 and get it and still have my hard earned 217k credits.

"inflation" is a misnomer indeed, assuming they even said that. A lot of sellers raise prices, so unfortunately it's carried over to the Rewards Store as well. The funny thing is, if you tell a seller their price is high, they'll tell you it's because the Rewards Store price is high. Very ironic and circular.

Still, if someone really wants this and can manage to cobble together enough, it still might be a deal for them, if their conversion rate is at the very least 1800 credits per dollar ($205, retail value $299).

XBOXONE for 617000 Credits, really???? That's unbelieveable. I guess I'll just have to save up and buy one at the store, will be much cheaper than paying to ship stuff here and other methods. I was going to get the DSI for one of my kids for Christmas but they seemed to have raised the price of it also and I would have had the credits for it but couldn't get it and it's now gone. I used to love this place but now I have to rely on other members for stuff and be careful who I deal with so I don't get scammed like I have in the past.

Listia suspended his account :( *Paradox it's sad when they ban legitimate sellers with over 1000+ positive selling feedback.
Oct 28th, 2014 at 3:28:49 PM PDT by

Wow, why would they suspend his account? Listia is pretty much becoming the opposite of what it used to be

He said the email they sent him was "Purchase Fraud" I don't even know what that means....

It honestly just makes me afraid to list anything good here, you can be suspended for ANY reason, all it takes is someone flagging your auction (even if they are a no name 0 feedback just created account person) and you are essentially done. Goodbye time, goodbye money, goodbye products goodbye credits...

Dang dude, what exactly happened when they contacted you? They just said you didn't purchase it legitimately or something?

I first discovered Listia about a year ago and if my memory has it, they had reasonable GINS for the Amazon gift codes?? Quote me if I'm wrong.
The Rewards Store offered the MEElectronics - Sport-Fi S6 Earbud Headphones for 60K credits (which goes for 100 bucks on Amazon), so I immediately ginned it. Couple days later, Listia sends me a message saying that Best Buy had told them that the item has been cancelled and they reversed my credits. Personally, I don't believe it! I think they realized they made a boo-boo with the amount and blamed it on BB. Shame :(

It really isn't, listia used to have a way more active community and a way more active rewards store, they would post 3ds xl's back to back at like 160k, good luck getting that now, this is why I barely even list anymore

Even if we raise our prices, who will be able to afford them? Still costs the entire community more and eventually people will be leaving in the boatloads.
Oct 29th, 2014 at 10:13:34 AM PDT by
Original
Yea people are going to start leaving,no doubt about it, especially after listia decided to start suspending dedicated users accounts without even giving an explanation for it.

Yea me too, there's no way I'm keeping my prices down if listia is going to skyrocket theirs

Wow! This doubled in price? Yikes!! I should have snagged one when i had the chance 6 months ago lol

glock19 ok I will ask why are they claiming they banned you from the rewards store

So I'm guessing the guy that commented first on this auction is saying everyone is stupid just because great listians see sumn they want to buy, but go and look at his auctions and you will see for yourself you will not ever get a deal, And lemme tell ya without buyers, selkers are garbage, so don't go blaming anything on the listians, your nothing more then a suck up Big Glenn
