The listing, 5 Antique Victorian Ornate Brass Frames with Victorian Era & Floral photos Frames ALL Made in Italy has ended.

Frames measure 5" top to bottom and 3-1/2" side to side. Each have a felt covered backing with a ring for hanging.
Two of the pictures resemble Romantic Era. The picture of the little girl and darling puppy is just that....darling!

Please send any questions you might have. These frames are very old. They border on being "true" antiques. This is a great find for you. They came with my grandmother when she immigrated from Russia as a young girl. This is what I was told a long time ago. I never hung them, but when I saw them in a box I knew I wanted to share them with my Listia family.

******AFTER I POSTED THIS AUCTION, I FOUND 2 MORE DIFFERENT BUT SIMILAR, AND A LITTLE BIGGER FRAMES WITH DIFFERENT PHOTOS......THE FIRST PICTURE SHOWS 3 AND PICTURES 6 AND 8 ARE THE TWO I JUST LOCATED. EVEN IF THE PHOTOS ARE NOT YOUR STYLE, YOU HAVE 5 BRASS ITALIAN MADE FRAMES THAT ARE QUITE EXPENSIVE.

They are really pretty. I was thinking before, if someone didn't like the "Victorian" period, and didn't care about the collectible side of what these are worth, they could really change them up by painting them white or a really bright color....anyway, you asked a great question. I would say they are more light than heavy. They are well made as they appear sturdy and not loose in any area. Thanks for asking!

Thank you so much. I am surprised there is so much activity here. Not everyone likes this style, but there are so many ways to use them. People are getting so creative now. I never had them out, truthfully. They're made to be displayed and enjoyed, so I pass that on to someone else. That's why I love Listia. Fairly new here, but now I have an addiction and I am having so much fun. I have many things to list, but some would be too fragile or costly to ship. I guess as we grow older, for me, I feel the need to pass on the things I don't use. Thanks for your kind words.
