I Have Searched Everywhere, and the ONLY other one is on eBay that I could find through several searches that was labeled "Steinback Volkunst aus Hohenhameln" or any variation of. It is large enough to be useful, and looks almost new.

The gorgeous carved wooden box is designed to hold two decks of playing cards. The box has the Queen of Hearts design. Beautifully Engraved Stained wood

The top and sides are covered in a design that includes both carving and staining, with the top and sides both having a border of hearts.

Almost 8" long, a hair over 5" wide, and a little over 2" tall, perfect for personal treasures.

It's amazing what we collect when we are young for me it was going to too many countries while my husband was stationed in Germany so I would take my children on the bus tours the base offered since I'm in a wheelchair driving especially there was not the answer they drive so fast so I was grateful for the base day and weekend trips but now with 4 CooCoo clocks never taken out the boxes and Hummels and Precious Moments then returned to the states when the Beanie Baby craze was starting so about 7500 later from McDonald's complete sets from different years to regular size Beanies to the big Buddies and the trading cards with stickers and the official membership sets with the gold and silver coins in them well they all have tag protectors and are in their own Ziplock bags in so many Rubbermaid totes i hate looking at them there are do many and of course they are in the short totes didn't want them to get smashed and there are so many they have taken over 2 walk in closets in my house and never been displayed. I did buy a box at the Berlin gate it's from the USSR noone has ever seen anything like it it us made from different types of metal wires and metal shavings it is the most Beautiful piece it's signed by the artist but after about 15 different shops to try to learn more about it and all they wanted to do was buy it when I just wanted to learn the name of the type of work it was called it is amazing. And I agree with the person that said this looks like it's from Poland I have 8 or 10 different boxes from Poland and they have the artwork and detail that this box has even the perfume bottle thst you slide in a wooden casing has this type of detail the beauty if craftsmanship found over there is just unreal. Now really wanting to go back that's for the smiles today's after a bad day on Listia I needed this really bad THANK YOU FOR TAKING ME BACK MANY YEARS DEAR YOU ALWAYS HAVE SUCH BEAUTIFUL ITEMS! I am so glad I found your auction before it ended today I bought several of these boxes while we were stationed in Germany 25 plus years ago along with many other boxes/jewelry boxes or any type of box I could get my hands on at every country we would go to visit including the USSR which I bought many nesting doll sets all with the USSR stickers but I never knew why these certain boxes had cards in them so I saw your suction and for the first time I started doing research on the ones I have which if I bought something for myself I bought something similar for each of our children to give to them when they moved out and it's amazing what I learned in sucharge a short time researching since I found your auction snd having over 300 boxes/jewearly boxes looks like I have alot more research to do but until I saw you auction with everything that has gone on in our lives and not for the good since my husband retired 15 years ago the crates made for my boxes have never been unpacked other than to open and check for damage and they had slipped my.mind with the rest of the items that fill up a 2 car garage, attic and 2 extra bedrooms but my son and his beautiful wife just bought their first home I can't wait for him to take the items bought for him since he was old enough to.pick out some items wish one day we can return to places we visited when they were so young.
