That is a good question and here is my explanation ....Listia set goals for every member to list more item and when the sellers offer free shipping to USA they reward the members with free credits like 400, 500 even 700 credits... you can see your goals under "My Listia " at the left side of the screen at the section "Account Settings " But for all Canadians ,when I see that they won my auctions ...I always negotiate the shipping cost to the very minimum... I hope I gave you a satisfactory answer .... Keep well ...

Here is my view about tracking to USA . FedEx, UPS. or CPS.ca charge from CAD. $16.75 and up.... in order for me just to brake even, since this item is free shipping to USA, it will have to go above 16750 credits!!!!!!
(1000 Listia credits equal to about USD $ 1.00 ) . The regular mail to USA via Canada Post will cost me CAN $ 6.00 to $ 8.00 I hope you now see the reasoning behind tracking.
