The listing, 1909 VDB MS64RB PENNY has ended.

This auction is for a PCGS slabbed and graded 1909VDB Penny. It is graded at MS64RB. This coin is extrememly hard to find, for even the Official Red Book does not list this coin beyond MS63.
Since there is no way of telling its value for sure, I am starting the bidding a little higher than usual, but lower than its worth.I will not consider any GIN below 100K.

ok, what to say here... I have been trying to fill the last hole in my collection with a 1909-S VDB penny for quite some time now, and just can not afford one, and then to imagine the cost of it at MS64. If I ever did get one, it sure would not show up here on Listia, even though I watched a pool table a couple months ago or so go for over 1 million credits. Long story short... it is not from the San Francisco mint, sorry.

they seem to be a common coin until you find one graded like this one. I got lucky enough to find a proof graded and woud probably trade it for a really nice 09-S VDB. am in the process of working a deal on just that this week.
