Description

The listing, The Gift of Kings - Frankincense & Myrrh has ended.

This unique gift contains two of nature's most finest ingredients: frankincense & myrrh. These Fragrant resins are harvested from trees to the coastal plains of southern Arabia. The barks are pierced and the juice which naturally exudes forms glistening "tears" that harden when exposed to air. Once priced by their weight in gold, these precious commodities were treasured by pharaohs, biblical kings, the Queen of Sheba, and most notably the Magi who presented them a mystical gifts to the infant Jesus. A wonderful gift for Christmas!

I really don't know. It was a gift to my husband about 15 yrs ago. It is a beautiful box and has maintained the fragrance of the resins.

Yes, the resins can be burned in a fireplace or placed in a seashell or foil then put on charcoal tablets designed for this. (Not BBQ charcoal) It is also used for medicinal purposes in essential oils.

@ Stuff4u, I should clarify that this is not typical incense you buy in the stores, but rather authentic resins of frankincense and myrrh harvested from trees as in my original description, and yes, they definitely may be burned for the enjoyment of the their unique aroma! I hope this helps.
