Myke, I was just trying to do alittle research on this bill. I found a list of banks that issue $20 bills in Maryland in 1929. It clearly states on your bill "The First National Bank of Maryland." On this list of banks I found The First National Bank of Maryland but it gives this bank a charter number of #204. Your bill has the #1413 on it. On this list it says that The National Mechanics Bank of Winthrop has the charter #1413. Can you give any info on this?
It says the first national bank of Baltimore Maryland. I don't see anything about Winthrop. Sorry I don't see what your talking about. It says 1413 on it your right about that.
