This is an exceptional looking 1 and half inch diameter, Commemorative award challenge coin stamped and issued to honor the Fallen and the nation coming together after the 9/11/01 attacks on the twin towers in New York City. It is a rare piece showing the solemn moment to which our nation became as one.

On the front of this coin is colorized in the background with our Flags colors and the Twin Towers and the New York city skyline, with the date on which the Twin Towers make up the 11, in the infamous date of 9-11-01.
On the back of the coin shows the rescue workers, and Firefighters, raising the American Flag at ground zero, with the words “America Unites” and “United We Stand”, and the date September 11, 2001. All in gleaming 14KT gold plating, in a proof like finish! This coin is absolutely stunning, pictures can not possibly do it justice! You have to see this coin with your own eyes! This would be an excellent addition to any ones collection! Comes in a coin capsule to protect it's beauty and finish.
