If You take a little time and do a smidge of looking online about the manufacturer You may find some wonderful information! First, this is from the mid to late 1800's You can see the word "Sterling" and if You look a tad Harder, You may just find the Rubber-Brush replacement Part! I'm now a Fan and watching, Blessings

Awesome auction. Whoever wins this DO NOT clean it. Antiques are more valuable left as is. Many dealers and buyers get frustrated at how much a harmless cleaning can lower the value of items. Original patina is valued much more than something that has been cleaned of such. Just a useful tidbit of info. Great auction regardless. F&W.
