Works good but all that is needed is hard drive? Without a hard drive it won't work at all. So does it work at all or is it broken and needs a hard drive.

It work real good. All you have to do is charge it and it will come on. Thr reason why you need one is because my baby daddy had clean out the laptop..

So he formatted it? That won't hurt the hard drive. It wipes everything out but you just need to reinstall Windows or w/e OS it uses

He had cleaned it out. When he was trying to put windows 7 on my laptop it was to big and the laptop only have 8gb. So he had to cleaned out everything and told me to get a hard drive for he can go head and put my windows 7 on
