Description

The listing, LG Optimus Net - Android Smartphone! New/Perfect Condition has ended.

Are your kids always trying to play games on your expensive phone?? Do you have kids that are starting to show interest in cell phones? It's unavoidable... That's why it's important to teach kids how to use smartphones SAFELY and properly and this phone is perfect for exactly that!

Today's item is an LG Optimus Net Android smartphone! Originally purchased for my daughter but was never used. We ended up giving her my old one instead. There are a few minor (barely visible) scratches on the screen just from being in my drawer. Other than that it's in perfect condition!

This phone is just the right size for smaller hands with a 3.2" screen, not too big, not too small! It has a 3.2MP autofocus rear-facing camera and camcorder, it's bluetooth capable, has an AMOLED screen, supports up to a 32 gb memory card, and has a battery standby time of 10 days!

I've worked in management with multiple phone carriers for years and was one of the creators of the "Smartphones Made Easy" classes that were in Staples locations throughout the country, so feel free to ask me ANY questions you may have :)

I have 3 of these phones. They are good durable phones. These are Straight Talk phones and there is two plans $45 and $55 a month. Any phone that has Internet the minimum cost is $45 unlimited plan text, talk, and 3 data, but they never cut you off of data they just slow you down when you get close to 3g. $55 WILL GET YOU INTERNATIONAL CALLING.

Awesome Karen171! Yes, they can be used with Straight Talk & Net10.. I knew the Straight Talk data plan was somewhere around $40, thank you for confirming that! Plans are also available though TracFone for as low at $8 a month or Pay As You Go

Do it take a sim card
Dec 24th, 2014 at 10:05:53 AM PST by
Original
No it does not take a Sim card. To use it on Straight Talk or TracFone service you can just load airtime or minutes either online or purchase a prepaid card from a store, or add service and minutes directly from the phone itself. It does however take an SD card (a memory card) which is used to store pictures, videos, etc. Not sure if you meant that or not. In my experience a ton of people get those two confused for one another so I just wanted to be clear about both. Hope that helps! :)

What carriers can be used on phone? What are the pricing for the plans usable?
Dec 23rd, 2014 at 4:47:49 PM PST by
Original
It's a TracFone and can be used with TracFone service, Straight Talk, or Net 10. Those are prepaid services and usually cost around $30-40 for talk, text, AND web with no contract. Very good deals on their services.

Is this phone unlocked so it can be used with Straight Talk?
Thank you in advance for responding to my question. :)

Straight Talk is actually part of TracFone so yes it will! But just to be 100% sure I went to their website and Straight Talk actually has a program called "Bring Your Own Phone". On the website you can enter the MEID of the device you want to activate with them (the meid# is in description) and it tells you whether or not the phone is compatible, so I did all that and yes it is compatible! All you do is buy a sim through them and you're good to go! Thank you for asking :)

I cannot shorten the days. Listia does not allow that and I actually have no way of doing so as I'm a newer user and do not have the necessary badges to edit my auction.

I'm sorry, I believe it's against the rules to do a GIN once the item has been bid on or I would. I would try bidding, you might win it for that much!

Not a problem at all! But I made an error in my last response, you actually don't even need to buy a sim card because its already a Straight Talk phone (Straight talk, TracFone, Net10 are all under the same company) This is copied and pasted from the site after I looked up the compatibility:
"Good news, your phone is a Net 10 phone so you are already taking advantage of great savings. All you need to do is purchase a Service Card and activate. A new SIM Card or Network Access Code is not required."
I believe the service card is just whatever plan you decide to use with them!
