I totally understand. I've been on disability for four years now, so I can feel your pain about living on a limited budget. That's one of many reasons I stopped buying bottled water. Of course I'll be your fan. Thanks for asking.

I feel your pain. As I said earlier, I've been on disability for quite a while now and grocery shopping in general is terribly painful, but especially when you have to lug heavy boxes into your home. Best of luck & fanned back.

I replace my filter once or twice a month, and this particular Brita system has replacement indication feature. It also features easy replacement filters, all of which is explained in the user's manual.

I think Brita has the best tasting water as well. Consumer Reports & Consumer Search consistently places them in the top ten, which is why I use them.

I don't know what type of faucet you have, but the instructions state that this filtration system can't be connected to a faucet with a built-in spray feature at the end of the faucet. Otherwise it comes with adapters & washers that should work with any other faucets. I'll attach some other pics of the user manual so you can determine whether you can use it. Hope it helps you. :)
