A lot of folks don't believe you can actually watch all your regular primetime HBO Showtime whatever shows without paying for cable.... yes you can! All you need is a streaming media player like this Roku and an app called playon. Yes there is a fee for plan but its a one time fee which last I checked was on sale for 20 bucks and turns your Roku player into a DVR. Check out playon.tv for more information and current pricing.

I have 3 Roku players in my house every TV has one because no monthly fee with TV programming on my schedule not theirs turns out to be a lot more fun to watch than paying a hundred to $200 a month for subscription services through cable or dish. There is also a lot more you can do with the Roku if you have a smartphone you can stream the media from your phone onto your TV with free apps you can use your phone as a remote control which is very handy considering I do not have the remote for this Roku. You can however order one for like $10 online. I always do used the phone or the tablet to change channels.

The auction includes everything seen in the pictures which is only the Roku box which is indeed in working condition. I'm only getting rid of this because we upgraded to a newer model for one of the TVs and did not need this any longer.

Its $10 for both on amazon... you could probably get it cheaper on ebay or you might even have one already at home. Its a pretty common plug style

Nope just the box itself... I disconnected the power cord when I installed the new one & some how the 2 got separated. I have no clue where it went. If I find it I will include it of course but short of digging through my kids room or the attic I think I have looked everywhere (probably should check my kids room)

No but you can get them both really inexpensively on amazon
$2 for the power cord and $8 for the remote - You can also use your smartphone as a remote too

The way Playon works is you install the program on your computer and as long as it's running you can have access to viewing Playon through as many devices as you own. Be it the Roku, tablet, smartphone, another laptop, bluray player or other media players. One fee covers all... You don't even have to be home to access it. The only catch is it has to be running on the PC so the other devices can pick it up. Its awesome! I've been using it for several years. I currently have it running on 3 TV's and 2 laptops and my tablet.

it should be noted that Roku comes with hundreds of its own channels but if you want to be able to watch PrimeTime shows on ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, USA, Lifetime or any of the movies and shows on Cable including HBO, Showtime, Cinemax etc... You will want to add the Playon App. Its like tv on steroids. Most shows are commercial free and you choose what you want to watch and when. You don't need to plan your day (or night) around your cable channel's schedule. I'm a big fan. We haven't paid for tv in several years and we love it!

Yes it does... You could do wired but I only ever used it on wifi because.... well why would you want more wires?
