also, I can unlock the phone if needed but just have to switch permissions on the account to do so... my moms name is still on it from years ago..although I pay the bills, responsibility needs to be transferred to me so I can get it unlocked by the carrier. they won't let me do it as of this point. Will switch this tomorrow if you'd like it unlocked. thanks all!

basically, you can download all apps for free and use extra functionality - such as custom button mapping. for example you could set it up to call someone specific by just using one gesture, rather than dialing it. And functionality like Siri!

The jailbreak will disappear if you restore the phone or upgrade the firmware ie. firmware 7.1.2 to 8.1 will delete your 'jailbreak'. It does not harm the phone, but 'breaks it out of jail'!

Although unnecessary if you don't know what it is, because it wouldn't be of much use to you...plus iphones are complicated enough :p If you're interested there are lots of articles on the internet. hope that helps :)

If you keep it jailbroken i will install Siri for you. The model itself doesn't have Siri but when jailbroken you can use it just like the 4S.

Rogers carrier and not icloud locked...I don't think that is possible..if someone else is signed in icloud on your phone you just sign out...
