Its AT&T, I know for a fact because I was there the day my friend's mom bought her the phone. To the best of my knowledge, AT&T was the ONLY carrier back then as arranged by Apple. You could only get the phones at AT&T or Apple stores, and even then the carrier was AT&T. And yep, local pickup would be appreciated, hopefully at a pub with a beer already sitting on the bar for me when I walk in with this shiny old skool smart phone ;-)

There's a slot just waiting for you. But, remember, this is from 2007, so you might need to mod it. Watch this kid. He's on it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mis0RBU115M
Nope. Its perfect. There's just a reflection of my grandma's chandelier in the photo so it looks funny, haha! The phone is in really good shape. One of my old flat mates had it strung to her Mac for like 3 months. It was brand new. Her mom got her a new one so she gave it to me, then moved and took her Mac. I had no way to charge it and it just sat forever, so now it won't hold charge. :-)
It only needs a battery, but putting a battery in an iPhone is kinda a big deal. Its major surgery if you haven't done it before. You have to split the case at the seams and use a solder gun to melt off the old leads to the battery then solder the leads back to the new battery. I've done them for friends on iPhones and Moto Razrs, I just never did this one because it wasn't my phone and by the time I got it (barely holding charge) I already had my own phone. It took me an hour both times and the battery costs $5-$15 on eBay, comes with a little kit usually with a little screwdriver and a couple plastic wedges to get the case apart. If you haven't done it, you might wanna watch the video first cuz its kinda tricky: vid on how to replace battery: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-oN-E7vFi4 Good Luck :-)
