This is a slight variation on what I've done before.

Rules:
Feel free to chat.
Negative comments and rude attitudes get you a free invite to THE BLOCK party.
Must have a VERIFIED Listia Address. NO EXCEPTIONS.

How This works:

This is a semi-mystery box in the sense that not everything is posted ahead of time. You (the audience) will get to choose all the items.

I will post the choice of first items. It will start at 5000 credits (to cover the free shipping).

Every 2500 credits, I will post 2 items. The first person to reply will have that item added to the box.

There will be a "second chance" for the item that wasn't chosen as it will be offered up for the next choice along with something new.

If there are questions along the way, please let me know.
If the bidding goes over 100,000 credits, I will be adding Blu-Rays and OOP films and other goodies.

No public domain versions (ie dollar bin) of films will be posted.

Bonuses - 20 watchers I put up the next movies to select.
80 Watchers, I add a bonus DVD regardless of bid.

100 watchers - I will add a bonus Blu-Ray, regardless of bid.

First items to choose from:

1) Laid to Rest - Anchor Bay DVD, Commentary, Making of, SFX, Deleted Scenes, Bloopers & Trailer. UNRATED

Once the 5000 bid has been placed. I will add another title to go up against Saw II Special Edition.

Questions & Comments

I get what you're trying to do with this auction, but I think you should've started it off with one of the rarer ones, and then a few regular movies, and then another rare one, and so on. Starting off with a good one guarantees a bidder who already has a lot of the usual stuff (all the ones listed so far) or doesn't really care about that stuff that they'll definitely get at least one movie worth their credits. If I took a chance bidding now I'd just spend around 7500 points on three movies that I don't like, just praying that somebody makes a bid to another teir and you happen to list a movie of some rarity before the auction deadline's up in one day. I have a hell of a lot of credits and one of my favorite things to find on listia is great horror stuff. I can't guarantee how many people would bid against me but I'd lay down a 50,000 credit bid if you'd throw on your Watchers/Watchers 2 DVD, if you REALLY want to get this thing started. :)

These tend to be hit and miss. I've had them go over over 100,000 credits and I've had them go for under 10,000. If I do start with the rarer items, the buy-in will be much higher. Thanks for the advice though! :)

As someone who loves horror and already has a lot of the bases covered, I'd like to see something a little hard to find. Would definitely start bidding for some good oop or hard to find movies. :D

I do have both good oop & hard to find films, but I would like to add those as bonuses...stuff like the mutilation man, watchers/watchers 2, tales from the hood, or even stuff like Evil Dead 2 laserdisc (blood red disc)

Since we are down to the final hours - IF bidding gets to the 100,000 credit mark - some of the Blu-Rays/OOP DVDs that are being considered are:
1) Halloween II - Blu-Ray. Still sealed w/slipcase & rare promotional nurse cap
2) Halloween III - Blu-Ray. Still Sealed w/slipcase & rare promotional poster
3) Watchers / Watchers 2 DVD
4) Tales from the Hood DVD
5) Evil Dead 2 laserdisc (rare red laserdisc)
6) Evil Dead 2 / The Beyond Anchor Bay Tins
There are more, but that is an idea of things that will be offered.

The user who blurted out Saw II as as the second choice should be slapped...no offense. Inside would have been a much better option. I'd opt for that for third selection. I have no need for saw, especially on DVD since I have the set on blu, so if I win just keep that one.
