On her auction she says she has 2, got a new one from her parents and that is why they are listing their computer. Are warranties transferable if a computer is sold to another individual?

Warranties on Acer computers are transferable from one customer to another after the original purchase.

The following are the conditions of the warranty transfer:

The computer must be registered within the first year of warranty to the original purchaser of the computer.
The warranty dates remain the same and the new owner will receive the remainder of the original warranty.

Once ownership of the computer has changed please contact Acer support to re-register the computer.

I know it cost about $30 to mail on top of running about $350 New.. So your not ripping anyone off compared to Listia's buy points value.. :)

You did great with the details. I just get confused easily!!! Thanks for fanning me and I returned the favor! My husband had a Dell Inspiron and loved it. Had he not spilled milk all over it and fried it, after 7 to 9 years of problem free use, he would still have it. Mine just came back from the Geek Squad at Best Buy because I had been hacked and it corrupted my hard drive completely. I would still be interested, maybe not for the hubby but for my daughter. Hi hon, Great listing and I too would block those asking you to give it to them for such low credits. Obviously children who should not be allowed on Listia! I do have a couple questions because I am not too savy when it comes to the "specs" portion of laptops and computers. I saw in the description the "not available" term in a couple areas so I have to ask a few questions.

Is it able to connect to the internet via wi-fi? Does it have 8.1 and all operating systems? Again, the "not available" term confused me. Does it have the CD drawer? I have an ASUS and it is the best on the market, as well as the Lenovo according to my hubby's research. He wanted one or the other but money is tight. Though he has saved up almost enough to get it, getting this from you would save us a fortune. I have a Core I7 dual core and love it so I just need to know if yours will be something he would like.

Please let me know what it can't do because again, I am a nit wit when it comes to technology for the most part. Any help you can be would be great! Thanks so much. :) L
