Thanks Jen, I find things all over the place. Mostly yard sales. Moving sales. Sometimes I luck out. The trick is finding things that people can use/want at a good price. I've been doing this for years so I guess I have developed a knack for it. Don't like to toot my own horn so I won't say anymore. Sometimes it's just plain luck. A few months ago I came upon a sale where the lady had to move in a hurry. She had stuck an old cardboard sign out at the end of the street and that was all that she advertised. She had scads of old glass in her cupboards, coated with dust, things she couldn't enjoy anymore. She just wanted to get rid of stuff so she sold it to me very cheaply. I bought a whole van load of stuff for 80 bucks! I didn't even bother to look at it all, she just started shoving things into boxes! When I got home, it took me a week to look at it all. Even longer to clean everything, but I found some wonderful things. Some of it had flaws and I set it aside, some of it is in wonderful condition. The lady had been collecting for years. I decided to put a few pieces on listia to see how they go. I have a lot more coming up, depending on how my first offerings go. If they are well received, I will auction off more. If not, I will try other venues. When I go out looking for things, I never look for anything specific, but I always find something! It's fun.

I found 2 flamigo's for my daughter's birthday from this company and they are of the finest glass quality ive come across. just wanted to mention this i have no affiliation with this listing , or this person , its just a piece you'd be proud to own. this duck is pretty hillarious tho i love his stance..
